Abbreviation: VG

Defines the grade of a numismatic item. On a coin, full rim with clearly discernable illustrations and features. Most legends are readable clearly, but the whole coin is still significantly worn. On a note, major signs of circulation, dirt, tears and perforations or major stamp mark may be present.
